Elite Sports Institute (ESI) is a sports training program in partnership with SEEO Charter School, designed for student-athletes who are committed to excelling in their sport while receiving a rigorous education. The program integrates sport-specific training into the school day, enabling students to develop athletically while focusing on core academic subjects.
Students attend school Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 2:15 PM, where they receive direct, grade-level instruction in Math, Science, History, and English from credentialed teachers. Each day, student-athletes train in a specialized, sport-focused environment, earning PE and Elective credits before attending their academic classes. After their morning training session, students engage in their academic courses for the rest of the school day, ensuring they remain on track with their education while striving for athletic excellence.
ESI provides dedicated athletes with the resources and opportunities to elevate their game through regular, challenging training sessions. These workouts, conducted outside of standard club team practices, are essential for unlocking an athlete’s full potential. By offering consistent exposure to intense, functional training, ESI ensures steady individual growth, giving our student-athletes the opportunity to stay ahead of the competition.
Our objective is to prepare each athlete to compete at a higher level through intensive technical and skill-enhancing training. Every session is carefully crafted to maximize ball touches and focus on individual player development rather than team-based drills. We place a strong emphasis on refining technical skills, playmaking ability, creativity on the ball, speed of play, fitness level and athleticism through consistent repetition.
At Elite Sports Institute, we offer two flexible academic options to accommodate the unique needs of student-athletes:
1. Direct Instruction: Students participate in in-person, grade-level and content-specific classrooms, where they receive direct instruction from credentialed teachers.
2. Non-Classroom Based: Students access personalized online curriculum that aligns with their academic level, allowing them to work at their own pace. A credentialed teacher provides support in the classroom as they progress through the material.
Both options ensure that ESI student-athletes receive a high-quality, flexible education while balancing their athletic training.
