Education For The

STUDENT-ATHLETE

Elite Sports Institute (ESI) is a sports training program designed for student-athletes who attend school at SEEO Charter School and are committed to excelling in their sport while receiving a rigorous education. The program integrates sport-specific training into the students' school day, enabling students to develop athletically while focusing on core academic subjects that are taught by their SEEO credentialed teachers. The ESI Training Program is available to SEEO student athletes in Middle School (grades 5 through 8).

ESI athletes (grades 5 through 8) attend school at SEEO Charter School Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 2:15 PM, where they receive direct, grade- level instruction in Math, Science, History, and English from credentialed SEEO teachers. Each day, student athletes train in a specialized, sport-focused environment, earning PE and Elective credits before attending their academic classes. After their morning training session, students engage in their academic courses for the rest of the school day ensuring they remain on track with their education while striving for athletic excellence.

ESI’s training program provides dedicated athletes with the resources and opportunities to elevate their game through regular, challenging training sessions. These workouts, conducted outside of standard club team practices, are essential for unlocking an athlete’s full potential. By offering consistent exposure to intense, functional training, ESI ensures steady individual growth, giving our student athletes the opportunity to stay ahead of the competition.
